10 Years of SDGs - What Now?

Diese Veranstaltung findet gänzlich in englischer Sprache statt.
Ökobüro is co-organizing this event.

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the 2030 Agenda, SDG Watch Austria wants to look back at a decade of SDG implementation on a local, national, and international level. With the 2030 horizon approaching fast, and growing urgency for a just socio-ecological transformation, the conversation will also set the stage for discussions about the future of sustainable development beyond 2030. We are especially honoured to welcome Adil Najam, inaugural Dean Emeritus at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University and Professor of International Relations and of Earth and Environment. His keynote speech will be followed by a presentation on civil society perspectives on Austrian SDG implementation and a fishbowl discussion on Just Transition.

Highlights:
- Keynote "Global Reflections on the SDGs at 10 Years: Where Do We Go from Here?" Prof. Adil Najam (Boston University)
- Sneak preview: SDG Watch Austria’s findings and recommendations after 10 years of SDG implementation.
- Fishbowl discussion: Towards a Just Transition in the context of social-ecological inequalities, global spillover effects and financing for sustainable development.
